The Friends of chalk Hill very much welcome you to the Pre-School website. 

Chalk Hill is a very sociable committee lead pre-school. Where we not only value the children but you the parents which contributes to the pre-schools unique sense of community spirit.

Chalk Hill is run as a charity and because of this we are only able to run by holding fund-raising events throughout the year. It is a great way of getting to know other parents, having some fun, as well as being able to help out a great cause - our own children.

The fees are charged at a level to run the preschool and meet all outgoings relating to this.  Any fundraising is to buy new equipment and resources for the Children.  As a registered charity we can also claim gift aid via the HMRC scheme which all adds up.

During the last year we have held many events including a Halloween party, Summer Fayre, quiz night as well as an Easter egg hunt and Christmas Fayre. I'm sure you will appreciate that all these events take time to organise and without help we could not do it so if you like organising events or just have bags of enthusiasm and would like to be involved with the pre-school and feel that you could spare some time or would like to join 'Chalk Hill friends' and fundraising team we would love you to get in contact as we always welcome any help anyone can offer. Please just speak to anyone of the members for more information. 

Officers and members of the 'Chalk Hill Friends' are re-elected at an Annual General Meeting, to which all parents and carers are invited to attend. There needs to be a minimum of six trustees in total to include Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and three others in order for the Committee to be a viable one.  

Details of 'Chalk Hill Friends' members and their role will be placed on our pre-school notice board. Therefore, the 'Chalk Hill Friends' list may be subject to change.
