Funding:

The government has set up one site that supports with all information on your entitlements and schemes.

You can access this at:  www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

You can use this government site to check if you are eligible to claim working parents funding for a 2 year olds.

Children that come under 2-year funding for deprivation will automatically be contacted by the ESCC funding team.

As the pre-school is a participant in the Early Years, every 3–4-year-old child is entitled to universal funding of 15 hours free childcare per week.

You may also be eligible to claim funding for more than 15 hours. (Please see the government website.)

Unlike some other settings we have no stipulations as to when you can use your funded hours other than the first 15 hours will be funded and then any additional required hours will be billed to you. Children receive this from the funding period after their third birthday (Not the next school term):

 Children born between:

Funding will start from:

1st April and 31st August (inclusive)

1st September following their 3rd birthday

1st September and 31st December (inclusive)

1st January following their 3rd birthday

1st January and 31st March (inclusive)

1st April following their 3rd birthday

In order for us to claim your entitlement you will be asked to provide a copy of either your Childs birth certificate or passport when you initially register your child.

This funding is subject to Government changes. Funding can be shared across another setting you just need to inform us and the other setting.

The 2 year funding, universal 3-4 year funding and the up to 30 hours funding will require you to forward us the eligibility code so we access funding for you. Once children become eligible for funding you will be required to fill in a form every term. Failure to do so will mean that you will become liable for your child’s fees.

NB: If you continually miss a session or sessions the EYEE have the right to withdraw funding.

Fees:

Fees are charged per hour. Fees are reviewed regularly and at least a terms notice is given on any raises that may have to be incurred.

Fees are to be paid by the start of each term. You will receive an invoice detailing the sessions your child is due to attend. Please ensure fees are paid within two weeks of receiving the invoice. These are paid via BACs. If this is not possible for any reason, please let us know and we can agree a different pay format.

If your payment is not received this may lead to your child not accessing those sessions you have asked to pay for.

We are aware that sometimes families have money problems so please contact our treasurer so something can be worked out.

We also accept Childcare vouchers.  Our Ofsted Unique Reference Number (URN) is 511229.

In addition to the above, we ask you to pay an annual Membership Fee of £25.00. A Gift aid registration form is provided with your application form and allows the school to claim back tax relief on this membership fee.

There is no holiday entitlement. Sessions missed due to holiday, frequent sickness or other reasons are still payable in full, except if your child is hospitalised where no fees are payable but notice does need to be given.

No refund or waiver of fees will be given in the event of a term or month being shortened, or the child is absent or sent home early, or if the setting is closed due to an event out of its control, such as the weather, no water/heating or a pandemic….

Removing your child from Preschool:

If you choose to remove your child from the preschool then 3 weeks written and paid term time notice needs to be given to the Preschool or if funded and removing before 3 weeks’ notice then these will need to be paid for.
